Bekkii Scott
Team Leader
Bekkii leads the ministry team (4.5 days a week) of the The Orchard Church of Christ. She, alongside our board members (from our congregations), provides leadership, vision and direction for the congregations. Bekkii also loves God, good coffee, and working in collaborative, imaginative teams
Joanne Vanderree
Associate Minister
Joanne gives oversight and leadership to our pastoral care systems, and small groups, She is currently working with a team of professional counsellors to develop wellbeing workshops and experiences for the church community, as well as the local community
Kate Alexander
Associate Minister - Youth Minister
Kate is responsible for Beyond Youth (our Friday evening youth program).
Kate also works in the digital design area, which includes this website, overseeing designs for social media, making signs and more!
She loves gaming, adventures and spending time with friends and family.
Simon Albury
Associate Minister - Operations
Simon is our Operations Minister and works closely with our Admin team(2.5 days). Simon also coordinates our Community Garden at the Bayswater Campus, which opened in 2021.
He loves chatting about faith, drinking coffee, and playing basketball.
Jill Bonsor
Office Manager and Church Communications
Jill facilitates the smooth operation of our office. As the Office Manager and Communications person (2 days), she takes care of many of the behind-the-scenes tasks that help keep our church going. Jill supports the maintenance of our website, and our Facebook pages, and facilitates communications getting to the correct people, especially when it comes through our website. Jill also assists with record keeping, supporting our pastoral care and welcome teams.
David Deith
Church Administration
David is our volunteer who is part of the church administration team. He is vital in supporting the ministry staff in a number of important ways. David works tirelessly behind the scenes in a number of administrative areas to ensure that our church effectively utilises its skills and giftings.
David also assists with oversight of our 9.45am service
Richard Brown
Encore Ministries
Richard is a volunteer with local church experience who assists with our pastoral care programs. Richard also has a passion for poetry, which he shares with our 9.45am congregation.

Alli Rowe
The Coffee Pot Manager and Pastoral Care Coordinator
Alli manages The Coffee Pot Play Cafe 2 days a week, a safe space for young and old alike that opened in February 2023.
Alli has also joined our pastoral care team after studying Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care Cert 4 in 2023, she now brings these skills to our Community and beyond.
Sam Young
Director of Video Development
Sam contributes all things video as our videographer and loves capturing authentic moments. As an experienced director of photography and videographer, with a focus on storytelling, Sam has several years of experience, including work on TV shows like Country House Hunters and TV commercials. His professionalism, dedication, and friendly demeanour make him a sought-after choice for various projects, preserving cherished memories, and crafting visually captivating narratives.
Melissa DiPietrantonio
Children's Ministry Coordinator
Mel facilitates the Little Lambs Playgroup on Thursday morning. It is a fun, free play, safe space for families to come and play, socialise and support one another while learning about who God is.
Mel also coordinates and plans the Sunday Children's program.
As a mother of 3 young boys, she appreciates and enjoys the privilege of sharing and teaching our young ones about the love of God and encouraging them to grow their own faith.
Hannah Rowse
Hub Play Cafe manager
Hannah manages the Hub Play Cafe. The cafe provides a great space for people to come and catch up over coffee and scones, have a great morning tea, or enjoy a delicious lunch. Hannah is a terrific cook and does a wonderful job at making people feel welcome and included.
Hannah loves being around people, cooking, gardening, drinking tea and being outdoors. You might recognise Hannah's love of plants as you walk through the entrance to the Hub cafe space.
