To make setup at Lardner Park quicker and easier, we ask that you drop your tent off at The Orchard Church of Christ (Bayswater Campus) before the event.

Please bring your tent to the church no later than Sunday 1st June .

Label your tent clearly with your full name!
Our site team, led by Georgina Bonsor, will transport and set up tents for you before you arrive at camp.

SYG is a Christian event – all participants are expected to be respectful during worship, sport, group times, and across the weekend.
Be encouraging, positive, and look after one another.
Represent our team and church with integrity, on and off the field.

🍳 Meals & Food

Our meals are organised by Hannah Rowse and the kitchen team.
Only assigned kitchen helpers can access cooking equipment and fridges.
Wash your hands before meals and clean up your own dishes.

If you have dietary requirements let Sam Young know.

🛏️ Camping & Site Rules

This year we're staying in the lower shed with some Young Adults camping outside on the lower grass area. Youth will be camping inside the shed.

Respect our campsite and neighboring teams.
Quiet time and lights out by 11:30PM each night.
No alcohol, drugs, vaping, or smoking.
Keep our site clean – everyone helps out!
Campfires are only allowed in designated, supervised areas.

🎽 Sport Participation

The sports coordinators are currently requesting sports based on your preferences. There are a maximum amount of teams allowed in each sport and these slots are randomly allocated.

Due to this process we can't guarantee you'll play all of your selected sports.

Be on time to all your games – timetables will be displayed at camp.
Wear your uniform and bring your runners.
Respect referees, officials, and other teams — no bad sportsmanship.
Let a leader know immediately if you’re injured or feeling unwell.

🛬 Arrival Details

If you're driving to SYG you can arrive at Lardner Park from 9am. You'll need your Ticket and your Working With Childrens Check if over 18 when you arrive at the gate.

Red P platers can drive to SYG but are not allowed to drive over the weekend. There is designated Red P plate parking at the gate.

If you're carpooling meet at the Bayswater Campus at 5pm Friday June 6th.

Check in with Sam Young or a leader immediately when you arrive to Lardner Park.
You'll be given your wristband – it must be worn at all times and is your access to re-enter Lardner Park.

🍳 Meals & Food

Our meals are organised by Hannah Rowse and the kitchen team.
Only assigned kitchen helpers can access cooking equipment and fridges.
Wash your hands before meals and clean up your own dishes.

🚗 Transport

Transport to sports venues is coordinated by Luke Atkins.
Stick with your assigned vehicle group.
Always stay with a leader or buddy when moving around.

❤️ Health & Safety

Shower daily and maintain good hygiene.
Bring extra warm clothes – Lardner Park gets cold!
Report any injuries, incidents, or unsafe situations to a leader.
First Aid officers are available onsite throughout the weekend.
